You are all welcome to arrive from 5pm on Friday to settle in and to find or pitch your tents if camping. Food will not be provided that evening. The Lord Poulett Arms is a very good pub in Hinton St George.
The estate is very beautiful with plenty of walks to keep you entertained on Saturday morning. We'll have some pastries, teas and coffee for camper breakfast.
The ceremony and most of the day will be outdoors, so please bring sensible footwear.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. Sequins and tartan are a killer combo.
If you have an instrument please bring it along and learn I'm A Man You Don't Meet Every Day by The Pogues. It would mean a lot to us to have a go at playing and singing this together at our ceremony.
1pm: small talk / nibbles / anticipation
followed by big talk / fizz / games
4pm: Big Pan Food
Meat/Veggie/Vegan options all available
You can then expect some high quality speeches
Followed by music and low quality dancing until late
We are providing some alcohol, but if you know you are likely to want to end up like this then please BYOB
We would love you to join us in camping on the Friday and Saturday. You can either bring your own tent and camping stuff, or book a luxury bell tent from Bears and Butterflies. These will be erected ready for your arrival. There are showers and toilets for campers.
To book a bell tent, please email email@example.com and put our names and the date of the wedding in the subject line. 3m will fit a couple and 5m will do four people or a family. All the prices you see are for two nights.
If camping is not your thing there are plenty of Airbnb rooms up for grabs in nearby villages; Hinton St George, Fordscroft, Dinnington and Crewkerne.
We don't have one.
Having you there to celebrate with us on the day is fantastic and we are really grateful to you for putting aside the time and spending the cash to be with us!
If you were really hoping to give us something extra then we would really appreciate some money towards whatever our future holds. Please get in contact with us to find out how to do that.
